The rookies of the Indiana Pacers are not shooting too well this year

Blogged under General, Bloglockers, Rookie Reports, Front Page by alleyoop on Thursday 7 January 2010 at 10:15 am

The rookies of the Indiana Pacers have a ton of talent but neither of them are shooting too well. Tyler Hansbrough has really played pretty well despite only shooting 36.5% from the floor so far this season. He has played in 25 games (0 starts) this season for the Pacers and he is averaging 19.0 minutes, 9.2 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game. If Hansbrough can improve his shooting he will definitely be a starting forward down the road for the Pacers. Point guard A.J. Price is also going to start getting more playing time with T.J. Ford in the Dog House. Price has played in 15 games (0 starts) for the Pacers this season and he is averaging 9.7 minutes, 4.6 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game. He is only shooting 37.9% from the floor and 28.6% from three point range this season and he will have to do better than that if he wants to get a lot of playing time down the road for the Pacers.
