Indiana Pacers 107, Golden State Warriors 126

Blogged under General, Bloglockers, Game Recaps, Big Pacers News by Andrew on Tuesday 1 December 2009 at 1:47 pm

The Indiana Pacers (6-9) fell victim to the Golden State Warriors’ (6-10) electric guard Monta Ellis and were blown out last night.  Going into the 4th quarter it was only a 2-point game, but Ellis was on fire most of the game and helped the Warriors outscore the Pacers 41-24 in the 4th quarter.  Ellis finished the game with 45 points,5 rebounds, and 5 steals.  The Pacers turned the ball over way too many times in this game (25) and they could not find a way to defend Ellis.  Danny Granger led the Pacers as usual, with 22 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals.  He did have 5 turnovers though, something he needs to work on.  Mike Dunleavy was very effective despite only playing 23 minutes.  He had 22 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals in the limited time he saw.  The Pacers should give him more minutes than 23.  The free throw line killed the Pacers as well, hitting only a pathetic 3-21 (14%) from the line.
