Los Angeles Clippers 104, Indiana Pacers 89

The Pacers came out flat in the third quarter and the Clippers punished them 32-14 to take over this game. The Pacers were also outrebounded 53-40 in this game and only shot 38.6% from the floor which explains why the Pacers got their butts handed to them last night. Danny Granger led the way for the Pacers with 16 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Mike Dunleavy had another solid game as he scored 15 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Jermaine O’Neal is still working the rust off and he finished with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. The Pacers are now 3-1 on the season.

The Indiana Pacers will be without Ike Diogu for a while

Ike Diogu will miss the next 4-6 weeks with a torn left calf muscle. This hurts both the Pacers and Diogu who was off to an outstanding start to the season. Diogu has played in 3 games (1 start) this season and he averaged 23.3 minutes, 13.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game. He also was shooting well as he hit 57.1% of his shots from the floor and 100% from the free throw line.

The Pacers shot an amazing 52.8% from the floor and that’s the big reason for this victory. Mike Dunleavy had another outstanding game to lead the way for the Pacers with 27 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Danny Granger also played very well as he finished with 23 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals. Jamaal Tinsley did a good job of running the offense with 14 points, 3 rebounds and 7 assists. The Pacers improved to 3-0 on the season with this win.

The Pacers pulled another shocking win tonight. Danny Granger led the way for the Pacers with 25 points and 9 rebounds. Ike Diogu was outstanding in 26 minutes off of the bench as he scored 16 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Mike Dunleavy was also active with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. The Pacers improved to 2-0 on the season.

The Pacers have to feel great about this win as they won it without Jermaine O’Neal and Troy Murphy. Mike Dunleavy stepped up for the Pacers and had his best game ever for them. He scored 25 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and dished out 4 assists. Danny Granger also stuffed the stat sheet with 20 points, 13 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots. Jamaal Tinsley did a great job of directing the Pacers offense as he finished with 20 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists and 3 steals. David Harrison took advantage of the injuries the Pacers have suffered by scoring 13 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, stealing the ball 4 times and blocking 3 shots. The Pacers are now 1-0 on the season.
