The Indiana Pacers sign Kareem Rush

Blogged under Comings & Goings, Bloglockers, Front Page by alleyoop on Wednesday 4 July 2007 at 11:16 pm

The Indiana Pacers have signed Kareem Rush with the hope that he can provide them some outside scoring.  Rush has played in 243 career NBA games (62 starts) and he has averaged 17.3 minutes, 6.4 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game.  He has shot 40.2% from the floor, 34.5% from three point range and 69.5% from the free throw line.  Rush played well overseas last season so he should have a decent shot to make the Pacers roster this season.

Good luck to Kareem and the Pacers. I’m a fan from his Missouri days. I hope to watch him on the court for many years to come.

I definately think he’ll get a shot with the Pacers as they aren’t a very deep team.
