Pacers prevail 81-76 over the Rockets

The Pacers played without Jermaine O’Neal and only hit 34.9% of their shots from the floor, but they still won the game.  The Pacers did play well on defense as they held the Rockets to 36% from the floor.  Al Harrington had a great game with 23 points, 14 rebounds and 3 steals.  Jamaal Tinsley had a solid game running the offense with 17 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals.  Stephen Jackson (13 points) and Danny Granger (13 points and 6 rebounds) helped out on offense for the Pacers.

The Pacers improved to 16-14 with this victory.

Pacers have awful second half in 78-71 loss to Wolves

The Pacers played awful in this game, especially in the second half when they were outscored 38-21 by the Timberwolves.  The Pacers only shot 38.6% from the floor and were outrebounded 50-41 by the Wolves.  Jamaal Tinsley led the way for the Pacers with 22 points.  Al Harrington pitched in with 12 points and 6 rebounds.  Jermaine O’Neal had a good game around the basket with 11 points, 11 rebounds and 5 blocked shots. 

The Pacers fell to 15-14 on the season with this loss.

David Harrison to miss another week

Reserve center David Harrison will likely miss another week with a sprained left shoulder.  He is only averaging 2.3 points and 1.7 rebounds so far this season, but he’s been a capable reserve in the past for the Pacers.

Pacers get another road win 100-90 over the Hawks

The veteran Pacers showed the young Hawks a few things in their victory last night.  Stephen Jackson led the way for the Pacers with 27 points.  Al Harrington had a decent game with 20 points and 4 rebounds.  Jermaine O’Neal had a solid game with 16 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists.  Jamaal Tinsley did ok running the team with 10 points and 9 assists.  Jeff Foster only scored 3 points but he dominated inside the paint with 16 rebounds.

The Pacers improved to 15-13 on the season with this win.

Pacers beat Sixers 101-93

The Pacers beat the Sixers in Philly in their first official post-Allen Iverson game.  The Pacers were scorching the Nets hitting 50% from the floor in this game.  Jermaine O’Neal led the way with 34 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 blocked shots. Stephen Jackson backed up O’Neal with 25 points.  Danny Granger had another solid game off the bench with 15 points and 6 rebounds.

The Pacers improved to 14-13 on the season with this win.
